Rachel will make her German operatic debut giving the European Premier of Tom Cipullo’s Glory Denied with Amici Arts in Berlin, Germany. Glory Denied follows the harrowing story of Jim and Alyce Thompson as they deal with the fallout from his capture and imprisonment during the Vietnam war. Rachel will portray Young Alyce, the figure that Jim remembers from their first years together. Glory Denied is quickly establishing itself as one of the most important contemporary American operas, and Amici Arts is thrilled to be able to bring it to a European audience.
