Rachel is joined by baritone Matthew Patrick Morris and pianist Ryan McCullough to perform an American-themed recital featuring solo and duet music that explores the roots and diversity of American music. They will present music from famed American-born composers Ives, Foster, Hopkinson, Burleigh, Beach, Gershwin, and Rodgers, as well as immigrant composers Rachmaninoff, Chen Yi, Korngold, Weil,l and Eisler. They will also feature duets by Rossini and Mozart, both of whom provided a springboard for the thriving American Opera repertoire that exists today.
